The same research, also, interestingly showed that your level of comfort in your home actually increases relative to the amount of wood it has. Rooms that have incorporated at least 30% of wood in their design were deemed subjectively comfortable and those incorporating 45% or more offer optimal contentment. In the study, participants described feeling “excited” and “harmonic" in various rooms depending on the amount of wood. Even by simply choosing wooden furniture for your tables and chairs, the comfort of your room will be greatly enhanced.
